My journey into Speech Pathology began with a deep passion for helping others communicate and connect.     Over my 18 year career, I have had the privilege of working across various settings, from schools, community settings and Telehealth. I completed my studies in New Zealand and after working there for a few years, I travelled and worked in the UAE before moving to Australia and making it home.   I am passionate about working with my clients and their families to support and develop their communication  skills.

I am experienced in working with children with complex, developmental needs and pride myself in offering unique therapy programs for each and every client.

I look forward to meeting  you and your child and  am excited to support them every step of the way on their journey to stronger language and communication skills. Together, we will work towards meaningful progress and celebrate each success along the way!

Hi, I’m Taila! I’m a speech pathologist who’s passionate about helping kids find their voice, build confidence, and have fun along the way. Since graduating in 2021, I’ve been working in the NDIS sector, supporting people of all ages with their communication and swallowing needs. Before that, I worked as a disability support worker, which gave me a real appreciation for how important family-focused, down-to-earth support can be.

I have a special love for working in paediatric feeding and dysphagia, language, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and literacy. What I enjoy most is helping children and their families achieve goals that truly matter to them — in ways that are practical, positive, and empowering.

No two kids are the same, which is why I create therapy that’s as unique as they are. I can’t wait to meet you and your child, and to work together to make progress feel exciting, achievable, and something to celebrate together!

________________

I am currently studying Speech Pathology and absolutely love being part of a team that supports children and families in such meaningful ways.

With a background in early childhood education and experience in the disability sector, I bring a playful, nurturing approach to every session. I am passionate about creating a safe, fun and supportive space where children can feel confident to learn, connect and express themselves- in whatever way works best for them!

At So To Speak, I work closely with our Speech Pathologist to support children's communication goals through engaging, evidence-based activities. Whether it is playing games, getting creative with craft, or building social skills through group work. I love seeing each child's personality shine.

I feel so lucky to be part of each child's journey- and I can't wait to meet you!
