________________

My journey into Speech Pathology began with a deep passion for helping others communicate and connect.     Over my 18 year career, I have had the privilege of working across various settings, from schools, community settings and Telehealth. I completed my studies in New Zealand and after working there for a few years, I travelled and worked in the UAE before moving to Australia and making it home.   I am passionate about working with my clients and their families to support and develop their communication  skills.

I am experienced in working with children with complex, developmental needs and pride myself in offering unique therapy programs for each and every client.

I look forward to meeting  you and your child and  am excited to support them every step of the way on their journey to stronger language and communication skills. Together, we will work towards meaningful progress and celebrate each success along the way!

________________

As a social worker supporting neurodivergent children and young people, my role is to create safe, and empowering spaces where identity, connection, and emotional well-being are centred. My practice is guided by a neuroaffirming and trauma-informed lens, which means that honour their unique strengths, needs, and lived experiences.

I work relationally and holistically, supporting not only the child, but also their families, educators, and other professionals. One of the key tools I use is play which is how children communicate, regulate, connect, and make sense of their world. Whether through imaginative play, sensory exploration, storytelling, or symbolic expression, play-based
approaches allow children to lead, express themselves, and feel safe.

My support also includes emotional well-being, identity affirmation, family support, advocacy, safety planning, and connection to meaningful relationships — all tailored to each child’s individual needs.

________________

I am currently studying Speech Pathology and absolutely love being part of a team that supports children and families in such meaningful ways.

With a background in early childhood education and experience in the disability sector, I bring a playful, nurturing approach to every session. I am passionate about creating a safe, fun and supportive space where children can feel confident to learn, connect and express themselves- in whatever way works best for them!

At So To Speak, I work closely with our Speech Pathologist to support children's communication goals through engaging, evidence-based activities. Whether it is playing games, getting creative with craft, or building social skills through group work. I love seeing each child's personality shine.

I feel so lucky to be part of each child's journey- and I can't wait to meet you!
