Fees
What’s Included in Our Fees
​​
Therapy at So To Speak is individualised and goal-driven. After the initial assessment, your therapist creates a targeted plan tailored to your child’s specific needs and developmental priorities.
​
We work collaboratively with families, providing practical strategies and personalised home activities to help extend learning beyond the clinic.
​​
​​Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy standard session fees
​

50-minutes F2F + 10 minutes of non-F2F — $193.99
​
​
​* LDC application fees, assessments and reporting are tailored to individual needs. Please contact us to discuss your child’s situation and receive a personalised fee estimate.
​
Private health insurance
​Depending on your level of cover, you may be eligible to claim a rebate through your private health insurance. The level of your cover depends on the extras you select. Please contact your private health insurance provider for more details.
​
Please note, all services must be paid in full. You will be provided with an invoice to allow you to claim from your provider.
Medicare
If your child has a CDM plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for up to 5 sessions per calendar year.
Please speak with your GP to determine eligibility.

NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) may provide funding for children with developmental delays, disabilities, or a formal diagnosis.
​
Children under 7 may be eligible under the Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) pathway.

Cancellation policy
We understand that situations come up and life happens, there may be a need to cancel your child's appointment. When cancelling or rescheduling a session, please provide as much notice as possible by texting or emailing the practice directly on 0439941276 or hello@sotospeaktherapy.com.au
The following policy applies for NDIS funded clients:

No fee will be charged if more than 48 hours ’notice is given.

Cancelling or rescheduling more than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will attract a charge of 50% of the session fee.

Non-attendance or cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours of the schedule appointment will attract the full fee for the session.

In the case of a child waking up sick, the parent must please inform the clinic via text message or phone call by 8:00am on the day of the appointment.

If notice is not given, and the therapist arrives at the stated location the full fee will be incurred.

The following policy applies for privately paying clients:

Payment policy:

New Clients: Full payment is required at least 24 hours before the scheduled session (to ensure session confirmation).

Existing clients: Full payment is required on the day of the scheduled session.
​
Cancellation Policy:
​

All cancellations must be made at least two (2) clear business days prior to the scheduled appointment.

Notification can be given via phone, email or SMS to your therapist or to the clinic.

If notification is received by So To Speak Speech Pathology within less than two (2) business days of your scheduled session, a late cancellation fee of 50% of the session cost will apply.

Missed appointments (with no notice): The full session fee will be charged

Please be advised that consistent late cancellations or missed appointments (more than 2 within a 3-month period) may result in loss of a regular appointment slot.

Clients will need to rebook as availability allows, and priority will be given to those on the waitlist.
